Tezukoid Searches for Sewer Monster

Also add Tezukoid (Jun. 17). In this drawing a noble Tezuka-type robot searches for a gaseous monster hiding in the sewers.

Previously added Dream Reader (Jun. 12), Closer (Jun. 13), Broken Spear (Jun. 15), and Sleeping Flash (Jun. 16).

Young Heidegger Comic Strip

Add Young Heidegger (Jun. 19). In this short comic strip the hero wakes up with a sore head. Later, he meets the young Heidegger, who speaks German and owns many books. Young Heidegger admits to knowing his neighbor, who resembles Nietzsche. Then he recalls, briefly, as the strip is about to end, an alien invasion.

Next: Young Heidegger joins the resistance.

Another Big Battle

May ended with another big battle drawing (May 31), this one on a large manila envelope found abandoned (and previously used) in the recycling. The drawing can be seen at both a smaller and a larger size.

Carla, visiting from San Diego, says, "A Godzilla drawing. And the Hulk." But the figure confronting the scientist-looking character in the foreground is not green, although he is large. And tusks grow from his nostrils.

Redreaming and a Big Battle

Add three forgotten drawings – "Atlantic Legion" (Mar. 16), "Redream One" (Mar. 21), and "Redream Two" (Mar. 22) – to March.

"Atlantic Legion" depicts a big battle about to begin.

The two "Redreams" reconstruct the first two pages of a dream comic from June 2002.

Do Those Come in a Smaller Size?

Add "Big Gloves" (Jun 1) and "Daniel Kesserich" (Jun 2).

Daniel Kesserich is the title character in a short novel by Fritz Leiber. He suffers from the effects of an experimental time-travel device that thickens his presence in time.

The Big Gloves crackling with power are those worn by the scientist-looking character in the foreground of the drawing for May 31. The little guy in the space suit is also from the foreground of that picture.

No Mamas

Add "No Mamas" (Apr 30) to April.

Mini Jesus and Two Others

Previously added "Mini Jesus" (Apr 25), "Waking Leaves" (Apr 26), and "Strange Voices" (Apr 28) to April.
